Meet Abby on Our Team: From Pro Ball to America’s Toughest Road Marathon

Abby is in training for the notorious Foot Levelers’ Blue Ridge Marathon on April 16th of this year, America’s Toughest Road Marathon, with over 7,430′ of elevation change. We’re Vegas-Bound, Baby!

The Foot Levelers team is headed to Parker Experience Las Vegas, one of Chiropractic’s largest annual conventions. Featuring hundreds of exhibitors, dozens of presentations and thousands of attendees from all over the world, the event takes place January 14-16^th at the stunning Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

This year, attendees will get to handle a number of exciting new products fresh from the Foot Levelers’ R&D and testing labs. In addition to hosting three booth spaces, we’ll also be sponsoring an opening reception and two exciting talks with world-renowned Chiropractor and educator Dr. Mitch Mally. read more

Runners Break Records–and Boost Economy–at Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon

Talk about an impact! In 2015 alone, the Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon ushered in $556,000 to the beautiful Roanoke region of Virginia, where Foot Levelers calls “home.” Over the past six years, the event has contributed more than $2.6 million to the local economy!

We are so proud to support the region and all the wonderful businesses and folks that inhabit it–and a big “shout out” to all the runners, fans, and Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway organization, which the marathon supports! (Read more about the economic impact here).

80° with 100% Electricity at the Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon

The clanging of cowbells, the cheers of supporters, the slapping of rubber against pavement as one by one runners crossed the finish line, exhausted but exhilarated, triumphant and often emotional — these are just a few of the sights and sounds from this weekend’s Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon. The mercury surged to 80 and the sun was unrelenting, but the air hummed with excitement. Click on the images below to enjoy the short videos.

Meet Our Marathon Volunteers: Laura Ash

Nine days and counting until the Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon! We’re pleased to introduce Laura, one of our most enthusiastic marathon volunteers. Laura helps man the Mill Mountain aid station where runners refuel with water and snacks around mile 12.

With apologies to our friends in the Northeast — who are experiencing yet ANOTHER snow dump this a.m. — Spring has “officially” arrived in our part of the globe and there’s no turning back.

The vernal equinox–or first day of spring–arrives today at 6:45 pm EDT. What does that mean exactly? It means that today the sun is equitably bathing the earth’s northern and southern hemispheres in light, shining its rays directly over the earth’s equator.
