Foot Levelers ♥ Chiropractic, and apparently hearts “heart” Chiropractic, too: research continues to suggest the blood pressure-lowering benefits of Chiropractic adjustments. The latest study concluded that certain instrument-assisted adjustments to the spine positively affected blood pressure, pulse rate and classification of high blood pressure (cool!).
The study randomly assigned 290 adults with and without hypertension to one of three groups: active, placebo and control, respectively. Following manipulation to T1-T5 vertebrates, blood pressure dropped—approximately 7 percent compared to baseline measurements! The intervention also improved blood pressure classification in many cases.
